Viewing your weekly schedule
Your current and upcoming schedule is always one tap away from the portal’s home screen.Open the Schedules section
From the portal’s main navigation, tap Horarios / Schedules. Your weekly calendar loads instantly, showing each day’s assigned shift with its start and end time.
Check a specific day
Tap any day in the calendar to see the full details of that shift — location, start time, end time, and any notes your manager has added.
Getting notified when your schedule changes
You don’t have to check the portal manually to stay informed. Houra sends you a notification whenever your manager updates or publishes a schedule that affects you.Allow notifications when prompted
The first time you open the portal, your browser will ask whether you want to allow notifications. Tap Allow to enable schedule alerts.
Receive change alerts
When your manager edits a shift or publishes a new schedule, you’ll receive a push notification directly on your phone — even if the portal isn’t open.
If you denied notifications when first prompted, you can re-enable them in your phone’s browser or app settings. Go to Settings → Notifications and find Houra in the list.
Submitting a shift-change request
If you need to swap a shift, adjust your hours, or flag a conflict, you can submit a formal shift-change request directly from the portal. Your manager will be notified and can approve or decline from their own Houra dashboard.Select the shift you want to change
Tap the specific shift in your calendar that you’d like to modify or swap.
Fill in the request details
Specify the type of change — for example, a different start time, a full shift swap with a colleague, or a day off — and add any relevant notes to help your manager understand the context.
Tracking the status of your request
Once you’ve submitted a shift-change request, you can follow its progress without needing to ask anyone.- Open Solicitudes / Requests from the main menu.
- Find your shift-change request in the list. The status will show as Pendiente (Pending), Aprobado (Approved), or Rechazado (Declined).
- If your request is approved, your schedule updates automatically and you’ll receive a notification confirming the change.
- If it’s declined, you’ll be notified as well. You can add a comment or submit a revised request if needed.
Your manager or HR administrator is responsible for approving or declining shift-change requests. Typical response times depend on your company’s internal policies — ask your HR team if you need a response by a specific deadline.
