Yes. Houra’s free plan requires no credit card and supports up to 10 employees. It includes schedules, attendance tracking, and the Employee Portal — enough to run the basics from day one.If you want to try a paid plan before committing, every paid plan comes with a 14-day free trial before your first charge. You can explore the full feature set and decide whether it fits your team without any financial risk.
Houra is made up of three integrated modules that work together as a single platform:
  • Houra Platform is the core HR and operations module. It covers schedules, attendance, the Employee Portal, payroll, internal chat, and more — everything you need to manage day-to-day HR operations.
  • Houra Empleo is your organization’s branded public job portal. You publish open roles, collect applications through custom forms, and manage your entire hiring pipeline from the admin panel.
  • Houra Campus is the learning and development module. You can create and assign courses, track employee progress, and issue certificates — all inside the same platform.
All three modules are included in Houra’s paid plans and share the same admin panel, so your data flows freely between them without any extra integration work.
You can choose to be billed monthly or annually. Monthly billing gives you flexibility — you pay each month and can change your plan at any time. Annual billing is paid upfront for a full year and comes with a discount compared to the monthly equivalent.Invoices are generated automatically at the start of each billing period. You can view and download your invoices at any time from Settings → Billing in the admin panel.
Yes. Choosing annual billing over monthly gives you a discount on your plan price. The exact saving is shown on the pricing page when you toggle between the monthly and annual views. For most plans, annual billing works out meaningfully cheaper over the course of a year.
Yes — you can upgrade, downgrade, or cancel your plan at any time from Settings → Billing. There are no lock-in contracts and no cancellation fees.If you upgrade, the change takes effect immediately and you’re billed the difference for the remainder of your current period. If you downgrade or cancel, the change takes effect at the end of your current billing period so you continue to have access until the date you’ve already paid for.
The free plan supports up to 10 employees. If you try to add an eleventh employee, Houra will prompt you to upgrade to a paid plan before you can continue. Your existing data and employees are not affected — you simply need to choose a paid plan to keep growing. You can review your current employee count at any time in Settings → Organization.
Yes. The Houra team offers implementation support to help you get set up correctly from the start — whether that means configuring your schedules, importing employee data, or setting up your Empleo portal and Campus content. To get started, contact the team and describe what you need. Someone will get back to you to discuss the best way to support your rollout.
The Employee Portal is a mobile-first Progressive Web App (PWA) that your employees install on their phones or access from any browser. From the Portal, employees can:
  • Clock in and out (including via QR code)
  • View their schedules
  • Submit time-off requests and other HR requests
  • Access their payslips
  • Receive notifications about schedule changes
Employees don’t need a separate app download — they add the PWA to their home screen from their mobile browser for a native-app-like experience.
The Employee Portal is designed primarily for mobile use as a PWA. Employees can install it on any iOS or Android device from their browser and use it just like a native app.The admin panel is browser-based and works on any device with a modern browser, including tablets and laptops. While it’s usable on mobile browsers, it’s optimized for larger screens where you need to manage schedules, review applications, or run payroll.
Yes. Houra supports multiple locations and sites within a single organization account. You can configure separate schedules, attendance rules, and QR codes per location, while still managing everything from one admin panel. This makes Houra well suited for businesses with branches, offices in different cities, or teams that work across multiple physical sites.
