# View and Request Schedule Changes in the Houra Portal

> Check your published weekly schedule, get notified of changes, and submit shift-change requests — all from the Houra Employee Portal.

Your work schedule lives in the Houra Employee Portal, updated in real time by your HR team or manager. You can check your upcoming shifts at any moment, receive a push notification the instant something changes, and submit a shift-change request without needing to track anyone down. Everything happens inside the app — no printed rosters, no group chats, no guesswork.

Your current and upcoming schedule is always one tap away from the portal's home screen.

<Steps>

## Submitting a shift-change request

</Warning>

## Tracking the status of your request

Once you've submitted a shift-change request, you can follow its progress without needing to ask anyone.

* Open **Solicitudes / Requests** from the main menu.
* Find your shift-change request in the list. The status will show as **Pendiente (Pending)**, **Aprobado (Approved)**, or **Rechazado (Declined)**.
* If your request is approved, your schedule updates automatically and you'll receive a notification confirming the change.
* If it's declined, you'll be notified as well. You can add a comment or submit a revised request if needed.

<Info>
  Your manager or HR administrator is responsible for approving or declining shift-change requests. Typical response times depend on your company's internal policies — ask your HR team if you need a response by a specific deadline.
